Undeniably Yours by Pamela Ann (Book 3.5 Torn Series)

I didn't think I could love a character more, but my oh my Bass Cole....

Undeniably yours is Bass's story of how he met and fell in love with Emma and how he let her go because he only wanted the best for her and wanted to see her happy. Even though he knew he had found the one....his first true love, he was willing to let her go (reminds me of the say, you let it go and if it's for you it'll come back to you) I wished that Bass would have fought for her like Carter did, I understand that he was sensitive about the fact that she choose Carter over him once, but I think he needed to push all that aside, see how even though she was choosing him over Carter now that Carter was relentless and was not going to give up. 

I think that's what i like about the differences between Carter and Bass, Carter never gave up on Emma no matter what, even though he knew she was sleeping with Bass and he knew she was in love with Bass, he never gave up... Bass gave up to easily.....He loved Emma and i don't think anyone reading the Torn Series doubted that, but he needed to fight for her the whole way through.... Don't get me wrong.... I will always be #teambass but I needed him to Fight.

Emma loved him just as much and she realized it, but he had to realize that she was going to always have a place in her heart for Carter (who doesn't always have a place for someone in their life) He should have been contempt that she choose him (which he did come to grips with after the fact) I mean look at how she embraced him after that text he got while they were celebrating getting back together in Greece (at the lemon orchard) She choose to stick by him no matter what, that is what true love is....

I was happy with the ending as well..... Great anniversary gift Bass, you redeemed yourself :) I hope that Emma & Bass will have their HEA in Fixated on you.... I like Carter, but I think that maybe he needs to move on (maybe with Amber) he's a nice guy, just not for Emma...... and Ms. Nikki (I don't trust 1 bit) but we shall see.... I can't wait for Fixated on you.....

Blasphemous By Pamela Ann (Book 3 Torn Series)

This book continues from book 2 of Torn and continues the love story of Emma Anderson and Bass Cole along with her can’t take a hint ex-boyfriend Carter Mason. When Bass finally gives in to his heart and let Emma know that he loves her, he is floating on cloud 9 when she tells him as well for the first time that she loves him as well….

But let’s take a step back first, so Emma, Lindsey & Trista has had an amazing summer hanging out, making new friends and experiencing new things, the girls are on their way back to the US while Emma will be wrapping up her filming in Greece.  Everything is going good between Emma and Bass and she feels more than ever that things are going to work, they will be able to move forward with their lives, but what awaits them on their final weekend together in London was totally unexpected. That’s right Carter Mason decides he’s going to surprise the girls while they spend some alone time in London. He has been trying to prove to Emma that he has changed and he wants her back.

Now take a walk back to the present, Emma returns to Greece to continue filming while her friends have Continued on back to the US, she’s back in Bass’s arms, but what she failed to mention was that Carter had stopped by in London, a trusting Emma takes a fan photo with Carter and it ends up on a gossip magazine….. Bass is beyond furious, he lost Emma once to Carter and never wants to go through that again, he decides he can’t deal with her and her lies and walks away from her, but when Emma decides she can’t take him being like this towards her, she decides to move over with the other cast and crew, but Bass loves her and doesn’t want her to be pushed away.

He promises to forgive her if she’ll only always be honest with her, no lies…. What Emma fails to mention to Bass at that perfect opportunity is that Carter had given her his great grandmother’s engagement ring, she had tried to give it back to him, but he wouldn’t take it. Will this secret be the end of Bass & Emma??  Or will a shocking revelation end their relationship for good??

I so heart Bass and hope that everything works out for him and Emma, Carter needs to get a clue and move on….. She has made her decision or has she? Clearly she loves Bass beyond measure, more than she ever loved Carter; she is just an all-around sweet girl and could never be mean if you paid her to be.  Will the big secret hurt the relationship or make it stronger…. But which relationship??

Frayed by Pamela Ann (Book 2 Torn Series)

Frayed is Trista's story...... She is best friend to Lindsey Mason (Carter's sister) Emma Anderson and Amber.

In scornfully yours, we found out that Amber was having an addiction issue and Trista was having an affair with her cousins Husband. She knew she should stop, she knew it was wrong but she had made the ultimate mistake, she fell in love with Harry (her cousins husband).... .what makes the ordeal even worst is when Trista finds out she's pregnant, afraid and not knowing what to do, she informs Harry, but what happened next she never expected.

Hurt and alone, unable to tell her friends the messy situation she's gotten herself into she has decided it's best this way and tries to get over Harry.... But can she do it?? can she put this man that she has falling in love with out of her mind, out of her heart? The trip she had planned to Greece with her friends (except Amber who has left school and has checked into rehab) will be a great distraction.

But she almost looses it and is saved by Taylor (Bass Cole's oh so hot best friend). Taylor decides he needs to keep a close eye on the Lovely Trista, he doesn't quite understand her, he knows she has a lot of baggage but he wants to be there for her and to help her however he can..... Still hurt over how things ended with Harry, she decides she will heal the best way she knows how, by drinking and having as much Sex as possible. But Taylor does not want to see her hurting or want to see her regret anything the next day, so he volunteers to be her play thing while in Greece... But can they keep this agreement just that; an agreement?? When Trista starts to have strong feelings for Taylor, will she tell him how she feels or is she just using a cloaking mechanism to hide her pain over Harry??

Now that Bass & Emma are together, will they find their happily ever after?? or will all hell break loose after the gift that Carter has given to Trista to give to Emma break through their reality??? Lindsey has hooked up with a Greek actor and is having the time of her life..... what throws everything out of wack.... you'll have to read on to see where everyone ends up....

I gave this book 4 stars..... I think i'm hooked on the Torn series, but so many emotions I am so on a roller coaster ride :)

but i'm definitely Team Bass (make me Happy Pamela Ann.... Team Bass 100%)

Scornfully Yours by Pamela Ann (Book 1 Torn Series)

Scornfully yours starts out with Emma telling her story of how she fell in love with the play boy womanizing soccer player.... When she started dating Carter Mason (her best friends older brother) she was given one instruction, never fall in love... Carter made it clear that he never did the love thing, no flowers and hearts. He was an in the moment kind of guy and never wanted forever.

When Emma realized her mistake she decided that she was going to jump ship before Carter did, she never expected that it would hurt so much, she never expected that Carter would be so cold towards her, after an afternoon of love making he dismissed her, thanked her for the sex and told her to leave......Heart broken and feeling depressed, her girlfriends decided that they would take a trip out to LA to party and cheer her up.... What Emma never expected was to run into Hollywood heart throb Bass Cole, what  shocked her even more was that he would even be remotely interested in her. But after spending all night talking to Bass; Emma realizes that she feels something that no one should feel after just meeting for the first time.... She wonders if he feels it to.... But she would never voice that opinion..... I know you thought that was the highlight of her night right? Well Emma starts getting text messages and voice messages from Carter... of all people Carter, the guy who dismissed her not even 2 days prior. 

Carter was hurt with the fact that Emma wanted out of the relationship, he didn't want out just yet, but why was he feeling so down about it, this was normal for him, he never did long term relationship, no love, no heart and flowers, she quality time and some sex... he's never felt like this after a break up and to top it off CeCe posted a video on Facebook showing Emma dancing with pretty boy Bass Cole. What was she doing to me?? Why was Carter feeling so possessive all of a sudden, could he be a hearts and flowers type of guy after all??

Bass Cole was compelled to get to know Emma, he doesn't know why but he's never had this type of reaction to any woman before. She wasn't even his type, but he felt like he wanted to be around her on a constant basis, wanted to get to know her, but could he? After finding out that she'd only just broken up with her boyfriend 2 days ago, he thinks that maybe he should back off.... But some how he can't, he can't get enough of her, he's only just met her, but he feels so connected to her..... Will Bass act on his unusual feelings or will he let her go, let go of these odd feelings that he's feeling. 

Guess you'll have to read it to know what happens..... I guarantee you that you won't be sorry.

Isn't she lovely by Lauren Layne

This book was amazing, fun & romance all rolled into one. 

This is the story of Stephanie a film student who looked like she walked right out of the Adams Family and Ethan the preppy rich boy....but looks can be deceiving.....Never judge a book by it's cover. 

When Ethan and Stephanie meet on the first day of school and end up being Film project partners, it's their worst nightmare ever..... But getting to know somebody before you judge them may just be the best solution.

This book was witty and had me wanting more, I would definitely recommend this book to others. 

"God someone actually dated this cranky little midget" 

Love is blind, it shouldn't see colors or money or where someone comes from and I think Ethan and Stephanie found that out in the end.

After the Kiss by Lauren Layne

I quiet enjoyed this book..... A story on how to make it to the next step in a relationship (undercover girlfriend) turned into not just an assignment but true love and the aftermath of a bet gone wrong.

This book is about Julie a magazine columnist and Mitchell a broker on Wall Street, saying it out loud you'd probably think what do these two have in common, what this book showed you was that you don't have to be exactly alike *a twin* if you must, to find true love.

The story is being told from Julie's POV and how she has taken on the challenge to take a relationship "to the next level" as she has never done it before; she's always been the date a few weeks and leave type of girl..... And then Mitchell's POV and how he is this stuffy "Mr. Wall Street" who has spent the last 2 years of his life dating the Senator's daughter, because it was expected of him (how predictable).... A chance for them both to experience something different. Julie wants to experience a long term relationship *the dreaded movie night* and Mitchell wants to have a quick fling because he's predictable and could never take advantage of a female like that.

And so it begins..... When Mitchell runs into his ex-girlfriend Evelyn for the first time since they broke up, Julie is feeling a tad bit defeated, but Mitchell lifts her spirits when he informs her he has turned down Evelyn when she asked for second chance (this totally floored me). I thought for sure that he'd see her again and realize he was missing the order in his life and he would follow through on his bet to dump Julie after a few dates... But what Mitchell was really missing from his life was unpredictability, someone to make him smile, feel like his world had tilted, who could "wear her granny panties" and not be embarrassed. What he needed was Julie, the unpredictable fun loving girl who had a past full of hurt, who was scared to let anybody in because of that past, but she let Mitchell in, she opened up to him like no other..... But would this love last forever, was it reality or just a spot in her magazine.....

Not writing her article would have been the worst mistake of her life and not seeing that he needed Julie in his life would have been the biggest mistake of Mitchell's life. I would definitely recommend this book. Great job Ms. Lauren.

Lily's Mistake by Pamela Ann

Lily's Mistake is the story of Lily Alexander and Drake Tatum......

For 8 years Lily Alexander has avoided Drake Tatum, a guy she has been in love with as long as she could remember. I guess your wondering why she would avoid someone she's in love with for so long. Well being away from Drake has eased the pain of what happened 8 years ago.

See Lily gave her one sacred gift to Drake only to find that the next day he had left her bed and walked out of her life, at 18 the one man she ever loved, ever made loved to had walked out of her life without a word. Fast forward 8 years, Drake was now engaged and his mother begged Lily to become his assistant to keep and eye on his "fiance" who she believed was only after his money.

Lily had tried to stay away from the entire Tatum family but found it hard to do since her mother and Drake's mother were best friends.... She agreed to help out but was not pleased about it. What Drake never expected the day he walked into work was that he would see the woman that he loved standing in front of him, with his mother telling him she would be his new assistant. 

Will drake every let Lily know that the he loved her too and he just couldn't stay because he wanted to live a little and enjoy life?? Will that answer be enough for Lily to forgive him?? What about the fiance that has his mother so worried?? but the biggest question of all is Lily single and would Drake ever want to take that chance again? 

After 8 years a person might not be the same...

I quite enjoyed this book, don't want to give away too much, but be sure to read this book, you won't be sorry. 

Unscrupulous by Avery Aster

Warner & Taddy....... Taddy & Warner, the book started off a tad bit slow, but by the time the crazy ex fiancé made an appearance I was geared up.

A story about a girl who made it on her own (well with the help of life long friends and Birdie); and a mega mogul who kinda started out on his own as well.... When he got married, his family was not too happy about it, but he built his empire from nothing and here he was, the third richest man in the world; and so the real story unfolds.

When their worlds collide one night in St. Barts Warner can't help but feel that thrill he once shared with his wife (now deceased), but when his psycho ex fiancé shows up and screws up his one chance, he can't help but feel he's missed the opportunity to find love again.

Upset at herself for almost giving in to her needs, Taddy and her BFF's make a pact for 1 year..... After months of searching for his Ms. Red will Warner finally find his mystery woman?? Can the insane promise between friends be kept??? Or will friendships be lost over broken promises?? Will a mother love her child unconditionally or will she choose her riches instead??? And what is the big secret that Countess Irma has kept from Tabitha Abigail?? I guess you'll have to read to find out.

More than Friends by Jess Dee

The story begins with Lucy and Seb who are best friends, when Lucy-loo flips the script and admits to Sebastian that she's in love with him.

a great friendship that blossomed after Lucy breaks up with a friend of Sebastian has totally spun out of control. some would think that since Seb was friends with Lucy's ex that they would not stay friends, but they were great for each other, he was always there when she had breakups or she needed a shoulder to cry on but after spilling the beans to Seb that she was in love with him and couldn't stop thinking about him the bottom of the bucket fell out.

See at the time Lucy spilled her heart out, she hoped that he would feel the same way, that he would tell her that she wasn't in this alone; unfortunately Lucy had missed the whole conversation Seb had had with her about the fact that the girl he had been on a date with recently, he really liked her and wanted to see more of her.

Lucy had an oh snap moment and ran for the hills.... See her way of coping with weird and uncomfortable situations was to shut that person out, cut them from her life and Seb didn't want that... He loved Lucy, maybe not in the way she wanted him to, but he loved her and wanted her in his life for always. 

So what'll happen?? Will Lucy be able to cut Sebastian out of her life for good, sever all ties with him? or will Sebastian find a way to keep Lucy in his life for always. 

 

Sweet Surrender by Chelsea M Cameron

I just finished Sweet Surrender and it was everything I had hoped for. Two people who find forbidden love but they try to over come all obstacles to make it work.

Rory was a true friend in my head, along with Sloane, Marisol and Chloe..... Lucah was totally yummy and you could see that he cared a lot about Rory from the start. Yes it started out as a one night stand but the body wants what the body wants.....so will Rory give into temptation and have her way with Lucah??? Or will they make it forever???

Lucah was smart and very good at what he did, I would have never guessed what his real reason for being at Clarke Enterprises was....I actually thought he was like someone on the boards nephew or grandson or something, he was good; sly but oh so good. 

It did suck that "Mr. Blaine" kept a secret from her, but love/lust is a funny thing, I mean he had always let her know there was a secret and it was something he couldn't reveal to her at that time, but he cared about her so much that he revealed parts of his real life to her, so in a way he was trying to be honest.He cared about her and wanted her to know the real Lucah even if he couldn't reveal himself completely. 

Great girls weekends/girlfriends and an amazing guy made this book everything I could have asked for in a book..... Now all I need to know is will there be any ginger babies :)

Wrong Kind of Love by Amanda Heath (Young Love# 2)

Wrong kind of love is Grace's story.....

Grace aka Kayla and her brother had moved from New York city and taken on roles of totally new people. I guess your wondering why? Well their mother was married to a controlling, manipulative senator in NYC and he wanted to ready made family; the ready made family look but not really the ready made family. Their step father had been abusing them for years, beating Kayla and sexually assaulting her brother well they had had enough and decided they would finally stand up for themselves.... They changed their appearance and moved to Arkansas. They were city kids and their step father would never think to look for them there....

Grace had a thing for bad boys (ie her ex boyfriend, tattoos, piercings the bad boy personified) and upon moving to Arkansas her brother warned her that she needed to find a nice down to earth guy to go after since a bad boy would be the first person her step father would look at if he was to ever catch up to them. Dark threads and video games were Grace's speed, until her major move, she became "Grace the blond hair blue eye cheerleader"; nothing like the real her and she needed it to be kept that way. She could never tell anyone her secret, they would never be safe.

This book overlapped a lot with This beautiful thing as the story is now being told by Grace, but all the while it still gives word of Teagan and Declan's relationship. When Grace first met Caden Harper she thought she was in love,   but as her brother informed her, he was not the one she should go after, Jaden the "good guy/foot ball player" was who she needed to date..... but Grace couldn't get these feelings she had for Caden out of the way.

Queue Caden and Jaden, they realize during the book that they have the hots for the same girl and decided they would put the bro code in place, Caden the amazing guy that he is, stood by the code, where as Jaden decided that he wanted grace and would have her no matter what.... this is after Caden had told her he couldn't be with her because him and his brother had decided they would not go after her because they both liked her..... Now grace is very confused, she wants to be with Caden and can't stop the feelings she have for him, but she knows to keep a low profile she should stay with Jaden....

Who does she choose?? Why would Jaden break the bro code, why would he go against his twin brother? and would the reason he's doing what he's doing be a good enough reason for his brother to forgive him? Will Grace's secret be kept safe? or will she be put in harms way? Guess you'll have to read to find out....

This beautiful thing by Amanda Heath (Young Love #1)

This beautiful thing is a story about Teagan and Declan and how they found love. Teagan was just  about to start college, but she was not a typical teenager heading off to college, she was different, see Teagan was the product of an affair, she had a whole new family that she knew nothing about: until her mom died.... She found out she had 2 older sisters, an older brother along with the twins who she had known for quite some time, just not knowing that they were her brothers. Her dad the Senator an his wife took her in, her brothers (the twins Caden and Jaden) became very protective of her; to the point where she couldn't even talk to guys without them butting in.

She thought maybe college would be different.... Well think again. Her brothers ended up at the same college and guarded her like a watch dog. Jaden the football player, and  Caden the artist kept watch over her at all times. Teagan figured she would never date because of them, until one night her roommate Grace (the cheerleader) invited her to a party, she jumped at the opportunity. I
t would be the night Teagan found the one she thought got away.....

What she never expected was the guy she fell for was her brother Jaden's best friend Declan. Determined to be with him but also determined for her brother to never find out (until she was ready) she did everything she could to be with Declan....Still all the while keeping it from Jaden... Until Jaden invites Declan and his little brother home for Thanksgiving (along with Tegan's best friend Grace), her whole family has figured out that her and Declan are a couple (just from the way they look at each other with love in their eyes) but what will happen in the months to come will change the family in a way they never imagined. Innocent Teagan who was still a Virgin and a saint in her families eyes was about to change and in a major way.... What happens that throws her brothers into a tail spin?? Is it Tegan herself or is it somebody else??? When her brothers are at each others throats, will she choose between siblings or try to make them see that no matter what they are family and nothing or no one should come between them????

I gave this book 4.5 stars, I loved Tegan and Declan (just so innocent and starry eyed) But the fun doesn't end there, see more in Wrong Kind of Love (Grace's story....Tegan's best friend)

Chasing Paradise by Pamela Ann (book 3 in the Chasing Series)

The final book in the Chasing series finds Sienna and Blake together but fighting against their love. Blake still can't get over the betrayal of what Sienna did and Sienna can't make him see that she loves him and only him; will this be the end of Sienna & Blake? Or will the fact that someone is trying to kill Sienna be the end?

But what happens when his hatred for what she did makes her feel like how she felt all those years living with a family who thought she was a burden and never wanted her around? She’s dejected and lost and just wants it all to end; the man she loves can’t even look at her, but won’t let her go.

When Blake’s new female assistant poses a threat to Sienna (or so she thinks) telling her that everybody sees that she is no good for Blake, he’s never happy and she should leave….letting Sienna know that she wants him and eventually he will be hers….. Will this revelation make Sienna end it all? Chasing Imperfection by Pamela Ann (book 2 in the Chasing Series)

Book 2 of the Chasing series, begins with Sienna and Blake trying to cure a broken heart (see Kyle moved to London to be closer to Sienna as he figured that he needed a second chance and wanted to be able to spend time with her, this was after Blake professed his love for her and told her he wanted to be with her).... trying to get past the heart ache they both felt..... If you've read book 1 then you know that Sienna and Blake went their own Separate ways; Blake not by choice but by rejection...... He was coping the best way he knew how by returning to his bad boy ways.

Random hookups and nights and nights of drinking trying to ease his pain. He tried, but no matter what he did Sienna was always on his mind. See Blake thought that after he proposed to Sienna that she ran off to be with Kyle, and how could he compete with her first love, her child hood best friend? He thought he couldn't and he was going to deal with it by any means necessary. 

When Blake happens to be at the same club as Sienna & Kyle with his new found conquest, he plays it up a bit to try to hurt Sienna, but does he really want to push his one true love to the limits just to prove a point? He stays away thinking it's best for both of them, but when tragedy strikes it brings them closer than they have been in a long time.... wanting to be there for Sienna and trying to break the hold she has on his life has him fighting with himself.

The eventually find comfort in each others arms and Blake assumes all is well, but what does Sienna do that makes him so mad that he can't stand to look at her? What happens that turns their relationship down the path of mistrust? 

Blake offers an ultimatum of spend a week with him loving her in all forms no questions asked, but will Sienna take the bait? or will she return to the save haven she has known for most of her child hood? I guess you'll have to read it to find out.

I gave this book 4.5 stars.

Chasing Beautiful by Pamela Ann

Chasing beautiful is Sienna's story about how she copes with the heart break of loosing her father at an early age, surviving in an abusive home, finding love; loosing love and finding it again.

Sienna's mother died while giving birth to her, so she never knew that love, but she knew the love of her father, a man she loved and adored. Until he dies when she was 7 and she had to move in with her aunt (her fathers sister) and her family. She suffered many years of abuse at their hand, but always had a guardian angel. Kyle......

Kyle was her savior and protector when she lived with her Aunt, so much so that eventually they started dating..... Upon graduating Sienna decides that she needed to be away from the madness and figured she'd move to London to start a fresh, she let Kyle know she needed a break from the madness but she loved him... Kyle promised even though it was hard to see her go that he would always love her and one day make her his wife.....

Queue bad boy billionaire Blake; from the first time he met Sienna he knew that his life had changed; he knew he had found the one. But unfortunately the one was committed to someone else.... What Blake wants Blake gets, but this one was different.... He knew in his heart his time would come so for the time being he would settle for being the best friend she could ever have. 

Sienna suffers a lot of heart break in book one of the Chasing series but at who's hands?? She's conflicted but why?? 

I gave this book 4 stars, there were a couple grammatical errors but our brain is a weird thing, I knew exactly what Ms. Pamela was saying. Great book and I would definitely recommend it.

Fulfillment by K.M Golland (book 3 of the temptation series)

The final book (well until Attainment Temptation 3.5 comes out) This book was truly amazing. It goes into details about who Alexis chooses and Rick or Claire's secret. It also goes into a lot more details about Bryce's cousin Gareth who actually happens to have split personality. The deadliest of those personalities is Scott, his gay alter who is infatuated with Bryce. Scott will do anything to keep Bryce for himself....  he's all good when he takes his medication like he's suppose to, but when thrown off the deep end (by Bryce's love for Alexis) Scott snaps. 

I won't give too much details on this book as this is the definitely must read, no spoilers, Just know that this ties the 3 books together very well.... When reading book 3 i was instantly transported into their lives into what was going on. There is a lot going on. Will Alexis & Bryce's love survive? or will it fizzle and die due to lies and deception? Can Bryce get over the fact that Alexis has a ready made family, could he love another man's kids? Can he walk away from Alexis or will their love stand the test of time.

Satisfaction by K.M Golland (book 2 of the Temptation Series)

Satisfaction continues on where Temptation left off. Now they've been tempted last time Bryce had promised Alexis that he would make it happen so that she would be free to be with him without feeling any regrets.  If you've read book 1 so far then you know Bryce made it happen. How you may ask? Let’s just say that a husband with a secret with millions being dangled in front of him would probably sell his mother (lol).

The book starts out with Bryce explaining how he made sure he was noticed by Alexis. See he knew she was coming; the storm in him was already brewing. He wanted her and bad, he had requested that security advise him once she had swiped her employee id, he had only meant to look at her from a distance, but her beauty captivated him and he ended up a lot closer than he intended. So close that when Alexis turned around from getting her getting her white hot chocolate it spilled over the both of them.  The quick thinker that he is, swept Alexis away and into Versace (Versace Versace Versace), the mighty Bryce was nervous and it was oh so cute J, not as nervous as when he offered to zip her new dress up that first meeting. Oh Bryce! Bryce! Bryce.

The book continues on telling how Bryce and Alexis spent their time together and it wasn't all movie watching and talking….. They got to know each other, not just as people but as lovers, Alexis realized throughout this book how amazing Bryce was and even though she couldn't quite figure out how she could be falling for him…. How she fell for him when she was married to Rick was beyond her. But the painful reminder of what Rick had told her was still there. What she though was an innocent kiss between Rick and a family friend had been more, Rick had an affair and never told her. She was beyond hurt and had made up her mind that she would not let it destroy her; Bryce was her knight in shining armor. As long as his secret between him and Rick was kept a secret.

Rick had a little plan of his own, see he was being blackmailed by said person he cheated with and needed the payout money from Bryce to bail himself out; he had taken a second loan out on the house to pay off Claire. He confronted Bryce in front of Alexis and just let it slip (no it wasn't a slip) that Bryce paid him to have Alexis for 1 week. Hurt and disgusted that her husband would pimp her out and that the man she just realized she loved beyond measures had tricked her into being with him.  Rick continued on my saying that he lied to her, he had never cheated and just wanted to let her get Bryce out of her system; he knew she would never fall in love with Bryce because she loved him.

Was he right? Was Rick telling the true, he didn't have an affair with Claire? Why was she really blackmailing him if he claims it was a lie, was there another secret that was yet to rise to the surface?  Something just wasn't right…. But guess what? You’ll have to read book to see what happens, who does Alexis end up with? Her husband who claims he never cheated and wanted to teach Bryce a lesson by taking his money, or Bryce who she was head over heels in love with? 

Temptation by K.M Golland

When i first got this book, and read the first line I must admit I was not very excited, but the reader in me just had to keep going. Now I must admit what a shame it would have been if i had missed on out "The Temptation Series" By Ms. Kelly Golland. Since reading these series I have encouraged everybody to read these books. Bryce and Alexis blew me away. Nothing like what I expected. 

The story starts out with Alexis telling about how she was reentering the work force and how nervous she was; after 9 years of being a house wife and mom, she was about to embark on a new journey. Little did she know was that her new boss was embarking on a new journey as well. See Alexis married her high school sweet heart and they had 2 beautiful children together. Bryce on the other hand was single and never looking to settle down, until his world was thrown into a tail spin. 

Upon going through applications for possible candidates for the new position as Concierge at his hotel, what Bryce didn't expect to find was his soul mate, his heart, his everything. yes she was married, but Bryce was a very head strong man, and what he wanted he would get and he wanted Alexis. 

Alexis went from being hired as a concierge to being Bryce's assistant... see his sister Lucy was his current assistant but she was pregnant and about to leave on maternity. Bryce kept his remaining family close his parents and little brother were killed in a Car crash when Bryce was young, his cousin Garth (who was the vice president of Clark Incorporated) was also int he car when the accident happened and survived. Bryce felt guilty because he was supposed to pick Gareth up but couldn't and his parents had offered. He blamed himself for the issues that followed. 

Alexis felt the electric charge whenever she was around Bryce, but she was married, she shouldn't be feeling this way, she had her husband Rick and her kids Charlotte and Nate, where were these feelings coming from. Bryce felt it too, and he just had to act upon his feelings, he had to have her; show her that she wanted him just as bad. Alexis informed him she could never cheat on Rick, even though she felt the attraction she could never act upon it.... and Bryce promises her that he will make it happen.

This one you don't want to miss, how does Bryce Satisfy his cravings to have Alexis? How does he make it happen? I give this book 5 starts, I loved it that much. But don't take my word for it (actually maybe you should) read Temptation to see how or if Bryce keeps his promise to make them happen. 

Falling for my husband by Pamela Ann

I read this book not knowing what to expect, but what I got from this book was amazing. I fell in love with Stella and Callum and it didn't hurt that they gave a glimpse into the going on with Sienna and Blake (the chasing series) What started out as a promise to a dying best friend turned in to full blow, long lasting forever and forever love. What Callum didn't know about his dear "play" wife Stella was that she has been in love with him since she was a little girl. Callum loved Stella like family as he had grown to love hers as his own. 

Hurt and betrayed by who he though was once his 1 true love, Callum vowed to never love again. Until his feelings for his best friends "little sister/his wife" (the child as he so often called her) shifted. While assisting Stella by completing her promise she made to her mom, the once business like relationship takes a turn towards spicy. Should Callum grant Stella's request and take her Virginity (she had promised her mother that only with her husband would she release her most sacred gift) or should he stay clear of her as this was only supposed to be a business transaction. 

One taste of the Ms. Stella and Callum was hooked, he became her protector, her lover, her friend. Only if he could love her without limits (the only thing Stella needed was his love); the attraction was there, he felt that slight tug at his heart, but was he willing to be hurt all over again? See Callum's 1 true love that he had planned on marrying, married his father without a word to him.... now she's back in the picture, she arrives one day to advise Callum that she married his father only to fulfill her families request. see they were about to be bankrupt and to save her family Callum's father offered her family a bail out if she married him and not contact Callum for the 3  years in the contract. Why would a father do such a thing to his son? Was he bitter? an evil genius? No he was heartless, didn't believe in love, marriage and children were all business transactions..... Callum believed him for a while, but his best friend Richard (Stella's brother) had showed him how to live, how to be free and his father messed with his head, his happiness.

But will he return to who he thought was his one true love, or does he stay with the woman who makes him feel again, who makes him feel things he's never felt before......

If i had to rate this book it would be 5 out of 5

I loved this book and wanted more, more of Stella and Callum, more of Sienna and Blake. 

I would recommend this book in a heart beat, you won't be disappointed.
