The story starts out with Mia being found in a garden beaten and raped..... Trying to remember what happened to her she panicked and passed out, but she was blessed with 2 guardian angels... Dom & Keisha, the two police officers who found her in the garden and did everything they could to make sure she survived.... What they didn't know was that her father Mr. Abbott-Renou was a political figure and wanted to use the tragedy as a prop to aide his campaign.
Lying in a hospital feeling like she wanted to die after the ordeal, Mia was given the option to take the morning after pill (something that was totally against what her father believed in) she declined the option.... So afraid that her attackers might return she req Dom to stay with her, she felt so safe, so protected, until her fathers people showed up.... back to her old routine, a father who didn't care if she lived or died but would do everything in his power to weave this incident for the good of his campaign, a spokes woman for abuse, standing up to her attackers, but in reality not really standing up to her attackers....
