I so enjoyed this book... It was the perfect mix of Love, drama and heart break. Everly and Cole had me on the edge of my seat anticipating what would come next. I loved that even though it took Cole a while to admit how he felt, it never lacked in his actions.

Everly is a student studying physical therapy about to graduate; she also works at a restaurant while she takes care of her sick grandfather “Pee Paw”. See Everly has been through something, she walked in on her brother committing suicide when she was only 14 and then witnessed her mother die of a heart attack right before her eyes. She was fragile; her father never gave her the love he deserved as he was always trying to live “his dream” through her brother Aiden, battered and bruised; she was left with the only other person she loved in this world (Her grandfather).  Working since she was 16 to make ends meet, Everly promised that she would make something of herself.

Cole is a pitcher for a major league baseball team, His brother Wyatt is a doctor and professor who introduces him and Everly. What Cole didn’t expect when he allowed his brother to set him up with a student physical therapist was that he would fall madly in love with her. But would he be able to stick with her through all her hurt and heart break…. Would she even want him to? With his “play boy status”, crazy ex-girlfriends and opening up to each other would their relationship last through all the hardship or are they doomed from the start.

I so heart Ellie and Drew (Gunner), with this book I never knew what to expect going in. But by the end of book 1 I am so a fan of Kelly Elliott. The love and dedication that Gunner showed towards Ellie was just amazing. I would so add him to my book boyfriend list (along with Josh, Jeff and Brad) they were all so dreamy J

Well Wanted starts off with Ellie as a child where her mother has verbally abused her since she was a small, about to graduate and head off to college and her mother still degrades  her in the worst way possible. Jeff her big brother and guardian angel has been there for her all her life; 3 years her senior he has always gone out of his way to try to protect her from their mothers hatefulness when their father walked out on them. Ellie’s mother has always told her she would never be wanted by any man and even though she knows her mother is a mean spirited person at this time, she takes that to heart and believes what her mother has told her. When boyfriend after boyfriend cheats on her she has had it with men, she has vowed she will never give her heart again. Until she meets Gunner.

Drew Matthews is Jeff Johnson’s best friend and football team mate. They have been friends for their 3 years of college and Drew (or Gunner as he likes to be called) has yet to meet Jeff’s little sister…. Until the day that she sends a text all hysterical stating she needs Jeff to come get her; Jeff knows something must be wrong and takes off in search of his sister. *Queue hero music* Jeff and Gunner find Ellie in a world of hurt as she finds out her currently boyfriend in the act of cheating on her. In the moment Gunner sees Ellie, he feels a very strong connection to her, no not one a big brother should have for a little sister, but one where when a man has strong feelings for a woman and feels the need to protect her; what he felt for her, he had never felt for anyone before. But what should he do about these feelings as this is his best friends little sister. I gave this book 5 starts, I was captivated from beginning to end. Ellie’s best friend Ari also stands out in a major way in this book…. But you’ll see a lot more of her and Jeff in Book 2 “Saved”.

Where the heart is book 1 in a collection of Novell’s.

I really liked this one; it was quick but to the point. This first Novella is about Chloe & Derek who happened to meet in one of the most unfortunate ways. See Chloe had just moved from Pittsburg to Oregon to get a fresh start…. She had just ended her engagement a few months earlier and wanted to start over; quiet happy with the choice she made in little Ribbon Ridge Oregon she was getting the life she desired, until she arrived to find her “home” on fire. In a new city with no family and no one to turn to, she watched as her new life started to crumble.

Enter Derek, Ribbon Ridge’s volunteer fire fighter, part time bartender and CFO of Archer enterprises; handsome, built and every girls dream, including Chloe.  He was the perfect friend, the perfect gentleman, he offered to help Ms. Chloe as she had no one around, he offered the garage apartment at his adopted families’ home. See Derek lost his dad at 9 and his mom at 17, he was taken in by his best friend’s family and they saw him as one of their own. This story starts 2 years into the relationship of Reed and Nolan (Yes I read the series backwards, but it didn’t stop me from falling in love with these two).

Reed and Nolan have been together since high school…. Reed is a start football player “Arizona Wildcats” while Nolan is on a scholarship…. Yes they are at 2 different colleges, but Reed and Nolan put the work in, she drives over to his school for all his games, while he drives up to see her every weekend (when he has no games)…. Reed is currently deciding if he will exercise his eligibility to enter the NFL draft, which means a lot of changes for Nolan if she’s in this relationship for the long haul.  Reed really loves Nolan and only wants her to be happy; Nolan feels the same way about Reed but small insecurities have plagued her life…. She does not want to uproot her life and move to where ever Reed might be chosen by, and then to have it all ripped from her if Reed decides to leave. Clearly Nolan never understood the power of love.

“It knocks you on your ass. But then you get up. You get up, because that person, the one you love more than anything on earth…. Well, putting it bluntly, like my father taught me, they make getting your ass knocked down worth the trouble.”

Mid-way through this book Nolan gets the shock of her life,  now torn between telling Reed her secret and talking about his impending eligibility for the draft has her all kinds of worked up.  The secrets lead to them feeling betrayed, hurt and insecure.  But what Reed later realizes is that LOVE is not easy, you’ve got to work for it, work to find/get love and work to keep love.  I totally enjoyed this book (Yes I will read book 1 to see where it all began, but I don’t think It’ll change my mind from loving Reed & Nolan). With good friends and love Nolan & Reed were able to get their HEA.

I gave this book 5 Stars

So hoping Ms. Ginger will give us a little novella allowing us a little glimpse into Nolan & Reeds new life and maybe find Sarah a man (God knows she needs to find a good man).

OMG what can I say about about Fixated on you..... It was all I expected and more. I cried, I laughed, I got angry and sometimes in the same chapter. 

This book is the continuation of Emma's love triangle of Bass Cole and Carter Mason. Undeniable yours gave us the details of Carter's and Emma's engagement; FOY starts a few weeks before the engagement. While trying to deal with the love of her life possibly being the father of Nikki's baby and the insecurities that followed along we find Emma being pulled and tugged in all directions. Torn between trying to compromise and be happy and supportive of Bass and being a friend to Carter; Emma is beyond exhausted. 

When the ish hits the fan and all hell breaks loose Nikki is fighting dirty and Bass is playing right into her hands. I am a total #teambass, but through out this book I was so mad at him. He must have seen how much this was hurting Emma, and that was evident from the day she blew up on him when he was going to the ultra sound..... I mean in my mind, if there is only a possibility that you could be the child's father why not ask Nikki to take the DNA test earlier??? Why put the person you love on the back burner?? Why let her go through all she was with the media and blogs with out setting things straight, Nikki needed to be put in her place and unfortunately Bass waited a little too late. 

Don't get me wrong Emma had her share of Mistakes, one major one "Carter Mason".... I did find a little love for Carter in this book, but if he really loved Emma he would have stayed away, it wasn't just about Bass messing up, he knew she was in love with Bass; yes she still cared about Carter, but he knew she was still I love with Bass and him taking advantage of the situation the way he did was not showing he cared about Emma but how he was trying to get what he wanted. 

I think Bass was partially responsible for their loss, Emma's constant worrying and the situation they were in did nothing to help..... All in all a HEA was had and I hope to see a lot more of those two in the other Torn series books to come... I fell I. Love with these two and wanna see their happiness shine through....

What happened next was something no 16 year old should ever have to endure.

In walks Carter Thomas the notorious drug dealer, weapons dealer, the merciless killer. He was everything that she hated. On her 16^th birthday Anna watched as her boyfriend was murdered right in front of her and then for 10 months she tried to survive at the hand of his killer. Now fast forward 3 years later, her father is now running to become President and Carter is about to have a retrial in Jack’s murder case, Annabelle is vulnerable and scared and she needs protection. What he didn't except was the attraction that he felt towards this broken girl, she was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen in his life, maybe she could tame the player in him.

Good friends, great trips…….. But months of hiding in the shadows and staying hidden all changes when the ultimate bomb drops…. How will Annabelle ever survive this crisis, will she be able to move forward? Will she get her happily ever after?? Will she ever tell Ashton that she has fallen in love with him?

I was so engrossed with this book from the very beginning my attention was peaked with the tragedy that Anna endured, not just by being slave to Cater for so many months, but watching her boyfriend die right before her eyes, carrying that guilt all that time, thinking that he died because of her. I did waver in the middle of the book, a tad bit of information over load, but by the ending chapters I was sitting on the edge of my seat….. Would things work out for Anna and Ashton, would her trust issues put a halt to what we all hoped would become of them in the end.

I’m guessing you’ll have to read to find out…. Can’t wait for Nate’s story J

I so fell in love with this book…. Not just the book but the characters Danny (Daniella) and Ryan.

Ryan was born into money; all his friends were of money. But oh how fast things can change. Ryan was not the rebellious type; he did what his parents wanted for the most part, he attended the dinners they wanted, dated girls he thought they would approve of. But oh how that was about to change. One night after a frat party him and his friends decided to head to Sally’s to grab a bite to eat, that group included his ex-girlfriend Angeline (she wasn't invited by him) but his best friend Mike was dating her best friend Cameron, so it was hard not to advise her she wasn't really invited. He had broken up with her 2 weeks prior because he realized that she was not the kind of girl he wanted to spend his life with. She complained about everything (daddy not giving her a new diamond necklace, laughed at the coach assistant disabled son) she just was not a very nice person.

Once a music major at Julliard (violin was her weapon of choice), she was now waiting tables at Sally’s while she tries to clear the medical debt that was left after her mother died. When she encounters Ryan with his friends, she can’t help but notice the; oh so handsome guy, but her brain warns her they are not of the same social status and he would never go for someone like her. Or would he? She figures he’s a kind person when he returns to give her a $50 tip. What she never expected was for Ryan to ask her out, even more she never expected that she would actually feel something for this guy, she knew he was gorgeous but that didn't mean he would go for a girl like her. The last thing Danny expected was for Ryan to fall for her or for her to fall for him. She loved him, but would love help them through the obstacles they are sure to face?

A visit from Ryan’s mother sends everything into over drive, it also doesn't help that Angeline thinks that Danny is beneath Ryan and does everything in her power to break them apart….

When love seizes you, you have no choice but to give yourself over to it, no matter the difference or the social status….. Ryan was a northwest Hockey player who never thought that he would be even remotely interested in Danny, but he found himself head over heels for her. But what happens that makes them both rethink the relationship. Will Danny be able to withstand the name calling, the rumors, and the judgments that will flow her way? Will Ryan let his “social status” stand in the way of him finding his happily ever after? Will he cave to the fact that Danny is not “of their world, their pedigree” and forget this whole thing? Will he forfeit his Happiness for that of his family?

Finding Cinderella by Colleen Hoover

I so wanted this book to continue... I loved Daniel and I loved Six.... They were so perfect for each other... Sometimes things happen in life that we may not quite understand and we try to fill the void (like Daniel did with Val/Tessa) but what we should do is let everything fall into place on it's own. Six fell into Daniel's lap one day a year ago and she fell into his heart a year later.... Amazing book Ms. Colleen.... I will definitely be reading this over and over and recommending it to all my friends.... Can't get enough of Daniel, Dean, Sky and Six... So perfect their names all match :) thank you again for this amazing book..... My only request is to make a a novel next time lol I still want more.

Her senior year of school was to be spent getting to know new people and trying to forget that unforgivable tragedy.

Grier Daniels was the star quarterback at Bay Shore high school. He was also the boyfriend of the head cheerleader Lexie. The ice queen of Bay Shore; she loved the attention that being the most popular girl & dating the star football player brought. The first day Grier ran into Wynn along with his best friend Vance, he knew there was something special about her. She was nothing like Lexie, but he couldn't act on those feelings, couldn't betray the girl he had spent the last 2 years with. But being “comfortable” with someone for the last 2 years doesn't necessarily make a happily ever after… or does it?

When their friendship starts to blossom Wynn finds out a secret about Lexie that could tear Grier apart; but does she risk telling him and loose his friendship and have rumors spread about her by Lexie or does she stand by and watch her new found best friend give his life over to the rich little girl who believes that everything should be given to her and she shouldn't have to work for anything. I really enjoyed this book..... Oh Dylan Turner, just oh so dirty lol.....

The typical “man whore/bad boy” Dylan Turner was use to girls falling at his feet and doing whatever he wanted… What he didn't expect was for his world to do a 360 when he met Paige Brinton.

When Paige decided to head off to college her dad as well as her long time best friend Jake thought she would be attending the University of Florida, not in a million years did they expect she would he out to USC (University of South Carolina) for school. Jake was Paige’s’ best friend since she was a little girl, she lost her mom at 10 years old and for a very long time it has been her and her dad. But Paige needed to spread her wings, Jake had always put his life on hold for her, had always been her protector and she wanted to the space to explore and learn new things; she thought the space would be good for Jake as well, he could start to live, find a girlfriend and experience all the things he didn't get to because of her.

Dylan Turner was one of the top baseball players at USC (the next best thing heading for the major league), he was best friends with Christopher (chris) Chapman who just happened to be the brother of Paige’s roommate Katherine (Kitty) Chapman. He was a part of the Chapman family; ever since Chris took him home for the holidays that first year at school they family accepted him as one of their own. Dylan was abandoned by his mother as a baby and bounced from foster home to foster home his whole life…. The only thing in his life that was stable was the fact that he would always fall back on baseball, no matter how much he moved he would always find he felt at home on the school’s baseball team.

When Paige and Dylan’s worlds collided they never expected it to be like this….. Should Paige stay away from the obvious bad boy and stick to safe and predictable? How about her best friend?? Her dad has always thought he was in love with her; could he actually be speaking words of wisdom?? Should Dylan risk hurting Kitty (his sister in a sense) by going after her roommate; the girl that wasn't quite his type but just made him feel all kinds of weird things? Or should he stick to his routine of loveless trysts and guarding his heart??? The surprise in the end will definitely throw you for a loop… Don’t think you’d want to miss it.

When Sadie took over her mother’s job over the summer she never expected it would be like this. 17 and about to embark about her not so exciting summer Sadie White had to continue to be the adult in the family. See Sadie's mother had her at a young age for a married man and it has always been just the 2 of them, their 2 was about to become 3 as Jessica White was now again pregnant. As long as Sadie could remember she has always been the adult in the relationship between her and Jessica, her mother had decided that she was "too pregnant" to work and asked that Sadie take over her job cleaning.... What Sadie didn't know was that the home she was cleaning was that of teen heart throb/rock star Jax Stone.

Sadie was always the adult, cooking & cleaning at home, bringing in the money so she never really had the experience of falling all over herself over Jax Stone; and she wouldn't start now, but while cleaning his room, she finds his old baseball pictures, his guitar collection and she can’t help but wonder about the man under the rock star.  Jax was quite surprised when he saw that Ms. Mary had hired a young teenage girl, as this was his normal relaxation time away from his screaming fans, he needed this vacation, this time away…. He was always suck in Jax the rock star mode and could never be his real self. Everybody had expectations of him including his mother.

What he found in the impressionable young girl now working for him this summer was that his wealth, he fame, and his fortune didn't faze her.  He knew he should stay away, their worlds were very different but he was so drawn to her, he didn't know what it was about this girl. He tried to stay away, but Marcus another one of our model employees always helped her do stuff and always made her smile and he wanted to be the one making her smile and look at him with those eyes…. No longer able to stand back and watch, he took action….. What he never expected was that he would feel this way.

Sadie knew from the first time she saw him that she would love this man, even if he never returned that love…. But she also knew that Marcus had a thing for her…. But what should she do? Risk everything to see where love with take her? Or be safe and continue to take care of her mother and soon to be sibling? Could she handle the backlash if she attempted to pursue Jax and everything came crashing down?? Or should she just play it safe?

Guess you’ll have to read to find out …. I very much enjoyed Breath; it was a breath of fresh air.

Broken Beauty by Chloe Adams (Book 1 Broken Beauty Novella)

Broken was a reality check on how people who have been through a tragedy cope, it was about a scared little girl who wanted to be loved not only by her father but by her mother, a little girl who acted out to get her parents attention, who never thought that they were people out there who cared about others and not just themselves.

The story starts out with Mia being found in a garden beaten and raped..... Trying to remember what happened to her she panicked and passed out, but she was blessed with 2 guardian angels... Dom & Keisha, the two police officers who found her in the garden and did everything they could to make sure she survived.... What they didn't know was that her father Mr. Abbott-Renou was a political figure and wanted to use the tragedy as a prop to aide his campaign.

Lying in a hospital feeling like she wanted to die after the ordeal, Mia was given the option to take the morning after pill (something that was totally against what her father believed in) she declined the option.... So afraid that her attackers might return she req Dom to stay with her, she felt so safe, so protected, until her fathers people showed up.... back to her old routine, a father who didn't care if she lived or died but would do everything in his power to weave this incident for the good of his campaign, a spokes woman for abuse, standing up to her attackers, but in reality not really standing up to her attackers.... See Mia knew who attacked her, but who she thought it might be, his family was a very big supporter of her father.... speaking the truth would only loose him  his biggest supporter..... even if it would hurt his daughter, her father pushed what she had to say aside..... But then Mia finds out her father doesn't always speak the truth, her life in shambles and on the verge of something she will never be able to live down.... you'll have to read to find out what the big surprise is.

Broken Beauty is part of a 6 book novella.... i quiet liked it and can't wait to hear more.

Undeniably Yours by Pamela Ann (Book 3.5 Torn Series)

I didn't think I could love a character more, but my oh my Bass Cole....

Undeniably yours is Bass's story of how he met and fell in love with Emma and how he let her go because he only wanted the best for her and wanted to see her happy. Even though he knew he had found the one....his first true love, he was willing to let her go (reminds me of the say, you let it go and if it's for you it'll come back to you) I wished that Bass would have fought for her like Carter did, I understand that he was sensitive about the fact that she choose Carter over him once, but I think he needed to push all that aside, see how even though she was choosing him over Carter now that Carter was relentless and was not going to give up. 

I think that's what i like about the differences between Carter and Bass, Carter never gave up on Emma no matter what, even though he knew she was sleeping with Bass and he knew she was in love with Bass, he never gave up... Bass gave up to easily.....He loved Emma and i don't think anyone reading the Torn Series doubted that, but he needed to fight for her the whole way through.... Don't get me wrong.... I will always be #teambass but I needed him to Fight.

Emma loved him just as much and she realized it, but he had to realize that she was going to always have a place in her heart for Carter (who doesn't always have a place for someone in their life) He should have been contempt that she choose him (which he did come to grips with after the fact) I mean look at how she embraced him after that text he got while they were celebrating getting back together in Greece (at the lemon orchard) She choose to stick by him no matter what, that is what true love is....

I was happy with the ending as well..... Great anniversary gift Bass, you redeemed yourself :) I hope that Emma & Bass will have their HEA in Fixated on you.... I like Carter, but I think that maybe he needs to move on (maybe with Amber) he's a nice guy, just not for Emma...... and Ms. Nikki (I don't trust 1 bit) but we shall see.... I can't wait for Fixated on you.....

Blasphemous By Pamela Ann (Book 3 Torn Series)

This book continues from book 2 of Torn and continues the love story of Emma Anderson and Bass Cole along with her can’t take a hint ex-boyfriend Carter Mason. When Bass finally gives in to his heart and let Emma know that he loves her, he is floating on cloud 9 when she tells him as well for the first time that she loves him as well….

But let’s take a step back first, so Emma, Lindsey & Trista has had an amazing summer hanging out, making new friends and experiencing new things, the girls are on their way back to the US while Emma will be wrapping up her filming in Greece.  Everything is going good between Emma and Bass and she feels more than ever that things are going to work, they will be able to move forward with their lives, but what awaits them on their final weekend together in London was totally unexpected. That’s right Carter Mason decides he’s going to surprise the girls while they spend some alone time in London. He has been trying to prove to Emma that he has changed and he wants her back.

Now take a walk back to the present, Emma returns to Greece to continue filming while her friends have Continued on back to the US, she’s back in Bass’s arms, but what she failed to mention was that Carter had stopped by in London, a trusting Emma takes a fan photo with Carter and it ends up on a gossip magazine….. Bass is beyond furious, he lost Emma once to Carter and never wants to go through that again, he decides he can’t deal with her and her lies and walks away from her, but when Emma decides she can’t take him being like this towards her, she decides to move over with the other cast and crew, but Bass loves her and doesn’t want her to be pushed away.

He promises to forgive her if she’ll only always be honest with her, no lies…. Frayed is Trista's story...... She is best friend to Lindsey Mason (Carter's sister) Emma Anderson and Amber.

In scornfully yours, we found out that Amber was having an addiction issue and Trista was having an affair with her cousins Husband. She knew she should stop, she knew it was wrong but she had made the ultimate mistake, she fell in love with Harry (her cousins husband).... .what makes the ordeal even worst is when Trista finds out she's pregnant, afraid and not knowing what to do, she informs Harry, but what happened next she never expected.

Hurt and alone, unable to tell her friends the messy situation she's gotten herself into she has decided it's best this way and tries to get over Harry.... But can she do it?? can she put this man that she has falling in love with out of her mind, out of her heart? The trip she had planned to Greece with her friends (except Amber who has left school and has checked into rehab) will be a great distraction.

But she almost looses it and is saved by Taylor (Bass Cole's oh so hot best friend). Taylor decides he needs to keep a close eye on the Lovely Trista, he doesn't quite understand her, he knows she has a lot of baggage but he wants to be there for her and to help her however he can..... Still hurt over how things ended with Harry, she decides she will heal the best way she knows how, by drinking and having as much Sex as possible. But Taylor does not want to see her hurting or want to see her regret anything the next day, so he volunteers to be her play thing while in Greece... But can they keep this agreement just that; an agreement?? When Trista starts to have strong feelings for Taylor, will she tell him how she feels or is she just using a cloaking mechanism to hide her pain over Harry??

Now that Bass & Emma are together, will they find their happily ever after?? or will all hell break loose after the gift that Carter has given to Trista to give to Emma break through their reality??? Lindsey has hooked up with a Greek actor and is having the time of her life..... what throws everything out of wack.... you'll have to read on to see where everyone ends up....

I gave this book 4 stars..... I think i'm hooked on the Torn series, but so many emotions I am so on a roller coaster ride :)

Scornfully yours starts out with Emma telling her story of how she fell in love with the play boy womanizing soccer player.... When she started dating Carter Mason (her best friends older brother) she was given one instruction, never fall in love... Carter made it clear that he never did the love thing, no flowers and hearts. He was an in the moment kind of guy and never wanted forever.

When Emma realized her mistake she decided that she was going to jump ship before Carter did, she never expected that it would hurt so much, she never expected that Carter would be so cold towards her, after an afternoon of love making he dismissed her, thanked her for the sex and told her to leave......Heart broken and feeling depressed, her girlfriends decided that they would take a trip out to LA to party and cheer her up.... What Emma never expected was to run into Hollywood heart throb Bass Cole, what  shocked her even more was that he would even be remotely interested in her. But after spending all night talking to Bass; Emma realizes that she feels something that no one should feel after just meeting for the first time.... She wonders if he feels it to.... But she would never voice that opinion..... I know you thought that was the highlight of her night right? Well Emma starts getting text messages and voice messages from Carter... of all people Carter, the guy who dismissed her not even 2 days prior. 

Carter was hurt with the fact that Emma wanted out of the relationship, he didn't want out just yet, but why was he feeling so down about it, this was normal for him, he never did long term relationship, no love, no heart and flowers, she quality time and some sex... he's never felt like this after a break up and to top it off CeCe posted a video on Facebook showing Emma dancing with pretty boy Bass Cole. What was she doing to me?? Why was Carter feeling so possessive all of a sudden, could he be a hearts and flowers type of guy after all??

Bass Cole was compelled to get to know Emma, he doesn't know why but he's never had this type of reaction to any woman before. She wasn't even his type, but he felt like he wanted to be around her on a constant basis, wanted to get to know her, but could he? After finding out that she'd only just broken up with her boyfriend 2 days ago, he thinks that maybe he should back off.... But some how he can't, he can't get enough of her, he's only just met her, but he feels so connected to her..... Will Bass act on his unusual feelings or will he let her go, let go of these odd feelings that he's feeling. 

Guess you'll have to read it to know what happens..... I guarantee you that you won't be sorry.

Isn't she lovely by Lauren Layne

This book was amazing, fun & romance all rolled into one. 

This is the story of Stephanie a film student who looked like she walked right out of the Adams Family and Ethan the preppy rich boy....but looks can be deceiving.....Never judge a book by it's cover. 

When Ethan and Stephanie meet on the first day of school and end up being Film project partners, it's their worst nightmare ever..... But getting to know somebody before you judge them may just be the best solution.

This book was witty and had me wanting more, I would definitely recommend this book to others.

Love is blind, it shouldn't see colors or money or where someone comes from and I think Ethan and Stephanie found that out in the end.

After the Kiss by Lauren Layne

I quiet enjoyed this book..... A story on how to make it to the next step in a relationship (undercover girlfriend) turned into not just an assignment but true love and the aftermath of a bet gone wrong.

This book is about Julie a magazine columnist and Mitchell a broker on Wall Street, saying it out loud you'd probably think what do these two have in common, what this book showed you was that you don't have to be exactly alike *a twin* if you must, to find true love.

The story is being told from Julie's POV and how she has taken on the challenge to take a relationship "to the next level" as she has never done it before; she's always been the date a few weeks and leave type of girl..... And then Mitchell's POV and how he is this stuffy "Mr. Wall Street" who has spent the last 2 years of his life dating the Senator's daughter, because it was expected of him (how predictable).... A chance for them both to experience something different. Julie wants to experience a long term relationship *the dreaded movie night* and Mitchell wants to have a quick fling because he's predictable and could never take advantage of a female like that.

And so it begins..... When Mitchell runs into his ex-girlfriend Evelyn for the first time since they broke up, Julie is feeling a tad bit defeated, but Mitchell lifts her spirits when he informs her he has turned down Evelyn when she asked for second chance (this totally floored me). I thought for sure that he'd see her again and realize he was missing the order in his life and he would follow through on his bet to dump Julie after a few dates... But what Mitchell was really missing from his life was unpredictability, someone to make him smile, feel like his world had tilted, who could "wear her granny panties" and not be embarrassed. What he needed was Julie, the unpredictable fun loving girl who had a past full of hurt, who was scared to let anybody in because of that past, but she let Mitchell in, she opened up to him like no other..... But would this love last forever, was it reality or just a spot in her magazine.....

Not writing her article would have been the worst mistake of her life and not seeing that he needed Julie in his life would have been the biggest mistake of Mitchell's life. I would definitely recommend this book. Great job Ms. Lauren.

Lily's Mistake by Pamela Ann

Lily's Mistake is the story of Lily Alexander and Drake Tatum......

For 8 years Lily Alexander has avoided Drake Tatum, a guy she has been in love with as long as she could remember. I guess your wondering why she would avoid someone she's in love with for so long. Well being away from Drake has eased the pain of what happened 8 years ago.

See Lily gave her one sacred gift to Drake only to find that the next day he had left her bed and walked out of her life, at 18 the one man she ever loved, ever made loved to had walked out of her life without a word. Fast forward 8 years, Drake was now engaged and his mother begged Lily to become his assistant to keep and eye on his "fiance" who she believed was only after his money.

Lily had tried to stay away from the entire Tatum family but found it hard to do since her mother and Drake's mother were best friends.... She agreed to help out but was not pleased about it. What Drake never expected the day he walked into work was that he would see the woman that he loved standing in front of him, with his mother telling him she would be his new assistant. 

Will drake every let Lily know that the he loved her too and he just couldn't stay because he wanted to live a little and enjoy life?? Will that answer be enough for Lily to forgive him?? What about the fiance that has his mother so worried?? but the biggest question of all is Lily single and would Drake ever want to take that chance again? 

After 8 years a person might not be the same...

I quite enjoyed this book, don't want to give away too much, but be sure to read this book, you won't be sorry.

Warner & Taddy....... Taddy & Warner, the book started off a tad bit slow, but by the time the crazy ex fiancé made an appearance I was geared up.

A story about a girl who made it on her own (well with the help of life long friends and Birdie); and a mega mogul who kinda started out on his own as well.... When he got married, his family was not too happy about it, but he built his empire from nothing and here he was, the third richest man in the world; and so the real story unfolds.

When their worlds collide one night in St. Barts Warner can't help but feel that thrill he once shared with his wife (now deceased), but when his psycho ex fiancé shows up and screws up his one chance, he can't help but feel he's missed the opportunity to find love again.

Upset at herself for almost giving in to her needs, Taddy and her BFF's make a pact for 1 year..... After months of searching for his Ms. Red will Warner finally find his mystery woman?? Can the insane promise between friends be kept??? Or will friendships be lost over broken promises?? Will a mother love her child unconditionally or will she choose her riches instead???
